Muculumba

SWMOZ SVOSVE was hired to provide consultancy services for project verification and supervision of the rehabilitation work on the Muculumba road bridge on the road linking Mazuwa and Chipene administrative posts in Memba district in the Province of Nampula. The work consisted of checking an existing project and its adaptation to the reality at the construction site, updating the Bill of Quantities for tenders and supervising the rehabilitation works.The work on the bridge consisted of:

• • Inspection and repair of foundations and repair of 22 columns in mortar stone and construction of beams
• • Construction of the approaches
• • Construction of the deck (138m) in reinforced concrete with 23 spans between 5.8m and 8.2m in length
• • Construction of access ramps on both sides for a length of 300m
